Maybe they should brag a little less about their 85 million dollars business and understand an imcompetent customer service will be the end of them. Poorly developped apps have hundreds of five star reviews, making impossible to trust them. Do you want more ? almost all the reviews are fake. For example, we have to wait around then days for an answer when we contact their "world class" support. Is that all ? I barely crashed the surface. I let a similar message in the appsumo community and of course, it was deleted right away by Luke Francis, just before he blocked me from the platform. What's happened? I was questioned indeed and threatened if I kept asking for refunds my account would be deactivated. In less than one year, I spent many thousands of dollars on appsumo, but unfortunately I also used their no question-asked refund policy. Purchasing almost 100 applications from Appsumo, in my experience, 1 out of 5 purchases will go bad and AppSumo will assume no responsibility and limit their assistance to emailing to the sellers that may or may not do anything.įalse advertising, breach of contract, poor support AppSumo assumes no responsibility or fault, although they sent me some lame email about how well they vet sellers before allowing them to join the platform. The email to the new seller is fake and so is the site. They email the original seller just to have a message sent back saying that that seller sold ownership to the application. Most recently, an application stopped working and when reaching to the seller, I received no responses after weeks after messages. Though there are many great applications and the staff is super friendly, I have had more than just a few applications I purchased be abandoned only after a few weeks or months after purchase or that the support severely diminishes after the 60 day return period. I definitely could continue, but I believe you're clear about how I feel about this company. That act of protecting their customer was noble and a model for what it requires to build customer loyalty and trust. Appsumo sent a couple email notifications informing about the options available, offering refund if none of the options were suitable. The provider was not going to honor the lifetime deal. Recently I ordered a software that decided to sell their company to another provider. I've always had prompt responses to my questions. I read some of the low reviews and wonder if we're talking about the same company. When you purchase you have a generous 60 days to return the product if you're not satisfied. Not only have they saved me thousands of dollars, but they've been completely above board and transparent with how they process information. They've won my complete trust and that's not easy to do. I have nothing short of amazing things to say about Appsumo.
